Why We Built This
The AI revolution isn't theoretical — it's reshaping workforces right now. LayoffSignal was founded by someone who spent 15 years building the AI systems that automate industrial work. After watching AI transform entire job categories from the inside, the question became clear: who is tracking the human impact with the same rigor we apply to the technology?

Nader Salman, Ph.D.
Dr. Salman brings 15+ years of experience building AI/ML platforms at enterprise scale. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from INRIA (France's national institute for digital science), 23 patents in AI and industrial automation, and a track record of leading global engineering teams at Fortune 200 industrial technology companies, he brings the technical rigor of a research scientist and the product instincts of a seasoned builder.
His work spanning computer vision, MLOps, generative AI, and data science platforms across the energy sector gave him a front-row seat to AI-driven workforce transformation — and the conviction that this data should be accessible to everyone navigating it.
